Two-factor authentication settings

After logging into the admin area, go to the Two-factor authentication section.


Authentication via application

We recommend using this type of authentication.

1. Install the Google Authenticator application. In Google Play or App Store enter Google Authenticator in the search bar. Download and install the application.

2. Go to the application and click Proceed with setup.

Be sure to go to the application settings: Settings - Time correction for codes.

Click: Synchronize.

3. Link your mobile device to your account using a QR code.

4. In the admin panel on the page Two-factor authentication - Authentication through the application point the camera at the QR code and receive a one-time password. Enter the received one-time password in the field and click Activate

Please note that the one-time password changes every 30 seconds

When entering the admin panel after entering your login and password, proceed to the next step of entering a one-time password

If you have disabled two-factor authentication, your existing account in the application will no longer be relevant. You will no longer be able to log in using it. Create a new one: 1) Scan the QR code, a new account will be created. 2) Delete the old one by holding the code from the old account with your finger (a trash can icon will appear).


Authentication via application

This type of authentication requires connection to the SMS sending integrator

After turning on the integrator and settings, be sure to check whether SMS are sent to the mobile phones of administrators and managers.

Go to the admin section: Advanced - SMS mailing and send test SMS to all required numbers.

In the admin panel on the page Two-factor authentication - Authentication via SMS enter your mobile number and receive a one-time password.

Please note that the one-time password is valid for 3 minutes

How can the main admin check whether two-factor authentication is enabled for managers

Go to the section: Settings - Administrators

Green key: two-factor authentication enabled

Red key: two-factor authentication disabled


How to disable two-factor authentication

After logging into the admin area, go to the Two-factor authentication section.

Enter the one-time password and click Disconnect.

If a manager loses a mobile device, only the main admin can disable two-factor authentication. See section: Settings - Administrators - Changing administrator If the main admin loses the mobile device, two-factor authentication can only be disabled through phpMyAdmin. Table: _sysadmin Clear the data in the columns: twofactor and authtype opposite your login. We recommend that all administrators enable two-factor authentication
