Server
Main settings
In this section you can configure the frequency of cache updates for all pages: main page, list pages (categories), content pages, tags, SQL queries, view statistics, search results.
Enabling caching significantly reduces the load on the server, but updated information will be displayed with a delay.
By default, optimal settings have been introduced for regular shared hosting with low traffic.
It is recommended to configure the cache on sites with high traffic.
Caching type - the system file caching option is used by default. Depending on your server settings, you can choose other caching types. See the section: Training - Caching Types
Automatic update of the template cache - if there is no need to update the template cache automatically, we recommend turning it off. Enable the option if you are working with design.
Gzip compression - compression of pages. Significantly increases page loading speed and slightly increases server load.
Additional options
Page navigation - select the type of page navigation. Expanded or simplified.
Convert contact information into images (anti-spam) - when the option is enabled, e-mail, phone, fax and other contact information will be converted into images.
Auto-save drafts in the editor - this option is useful when adding information frequently. When this option is enabled, the last data entered into the editor will be saved automatically.
Search input limit - the minimum and maximum number of characters for entering a search query. Optimally from 3 to 50 characters.
Limit between search queries - time limit (in seconds) between search queries. Optimally 1-3 seconds.
Time the user is displayed online (in seconds) - if the user has not performed any active actions during the entered time, the online icon will switch to offline status. 60 seconds recommended.
Number of information before pagination - a general setting for sections that are not configured separately. Number of information on the page in the admin panel and in the user control panel.
Tickbox to accept the agreement by default - check No and users will need to check the box to accept the agreements themselves. Used during registration and the third step of completing the application.
