Mail sending method: Disabled - mail is not sent. SMTP connection PHP mail function

Separator (line feed): CRLF LF Select a separator depending on the selected mail sending method.

Signature - signature in the body of the letter. Example: Sincerely, AwebCom site administration. You can use HTML tags.

Sender's E-mail - enter the E-mail of your domain. Example: [email protected] Otherwise (depending on your server settings), emails will not be received or will end up in the SPAM folder.

From - usually the name of an organization or website. For example: "AwebCom".

Testing - enter your E-mail in the field and click “Submit”. If the mail is configured correctly, then you will receive a test letter to the entered E-mail.

Keep logs of sent letters - when this option is enabled, sent mail is logged. Manage logs in the section: Additional - E-mail sending - Letter logs.

Send reminders about unread messages by E-mail - if the option is enabled, reminders about unread personal messages will be sent to the user. Additional settings for sending reminders are below.

Enable sending reminders for groups - select user groups for which the reminder option will be activated.

Unread message period - at the end of the entered time, a reminder is sent by E-mail. The reminder will be sent until the user reads the message or marks it as read.

When changing settings from SMTP to PHP mail, clear the fields: SMTP Host, SMTP User, SMTP Password

SMTP port: 465

SMTP server requires authentication: Yes

SMTP user: specify your gmail.com mailbox

SMTP Password: Your password for your gmail.com mailbox

Don't forget about the option: Passwords for Google applications.

If your application uses a password, enter that password.

The sender's email with these settings will be the one you entered in the settings: SMTP User.

Be sure to test sending mail after saving the settings
