AML verification
What is this?
AML - Anti-Money Laundering. AML verification is an analysis of the sources of funds coming to a crypto address and an assessment of the risk score. The risk score is a percentage risk score ranging from 0 to 100. It takes into account the history of receipts to a cryptocurrency address, the likelihood of its connection with illegal activities, user behavioral patterns, as well as available information about the address itself, its associated clusters and owner.
Automatic AML verification services allow you to verify cryptocurrency addresses before sending or receiving funds from them. All such services are paid, by subscription or payment for each check. Check prices on the service website.
Settings
First you need to configure the service itself. Go to the page: Currency exchange - Module settings - AML Select AML service and configure it according to the documentation, the link will be available after selecting the service or below on this page. Acceptable risk level - the percentage of the maximum risk level of the address that will be allowed before the exchange. It is recommended to enter no higher than 70-75%. The remaining fields depend on the selected service and are (one or more) access keys to the service API. Save settings
After completing the service settings, you need to configure payment systems that require AML verification. Go to change the settings of the desired payment system, if the currency of this system is supported by the selected service, the "AML verification" setting will be available. Select the areas for which you want to check: Outbound only - will only check the directions in which this system is outbound (you are sending funds to the user). Inbound only - will only check directions in which this system is inbound (you receive funds from the user). Both directions - checks will be carried out in all directions with this payment system. Disabled - no checks will be carried out.
Please note. For the check to work, you must enable the display of the corresponding "Account" field.
